We have extensive knowledge of all the major forms of contract (FIDIC based red, yellow, gold, silver, etc.) and are considered as the leading practice in relation to disputes involving the FIDIC forms of contract in Jordan.
Roads, Bridges and Railways
Hijazi & Saad Contract Management Office is regularly consulted to review road construction contracts or to act in disputes arising from the construction or rehabilitation of roads. Our engineers are internationally recognized as experts in this sector. Our client base includes governments, engineers and contractors with claims in the Middle East and east Europe. We have conducted arbitrations and represented clients before several Dispute Boards.
Energy
Hijazi & Saad Contract Management Office has experience in dealing with all types of energy related projects. Clients include governments, operators and contractors. We have worked on power stations, dams, photovoltaic farms and transmission lines. We have assisted in drafting particular conditions of contract for projects as well as representing clients before FIDIC Dispute Adjudication Boards, and in arbitrations. Some of these projects had bespoke contracts while others were under amended FIDIC forms, including the FIDIC Silver Book.
Buildings, Factories and Airports
Hijazi & Saad Contract Management Office has a vast amount of experience representing clients with respect to defects in the construction of buildings and preparing or defending complex delay and disruption claims. Our engineers have worked on the regional level, although much of our experience was obtained acting in disputes in Jordan. Our engineers have worked with the FIDIC forms of contract. We have worked on many small claims from as little as $50,000 to multi-million-dollar disputes relating to civil, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
